Baby Hotrod Quilt

I bet you forgot about it, didn’t you? I did too actually. But the shower is on the 17th of this month! This’ll be a quick post because Tuesdays are hell for me and I’m already running a bit behind.

Progress: I’ve washed the last of the fabric I need for the quilt. I’ve decided to fill in the last blocks with plain black fabric. The quilt blocks are just SO freaking busy that I think I need to tone it down a bit, especially since the backing fabric is also a busy print. I have to square up some of my blocks because they’re not big enough or way too big. I think it’ll work out though.

They glow in the dark too.

I want to sew this whole thing pillowcase style and tie it instead of quilting it. I decided that a long time ago, but it makes sense now too since I left it until the last minute. I’m just trying to figure out the easiest way to get the batting in there as well. Any ideas?
