I’m excited. I’m shipping out the first two Christmas packages today. I think out of 11 scarves, I’ll only be shipping 4. Yay! That surely cuts down on shipping waste. Three will be sent in Priority envelopes, one in a box.
I’m sending out my sister’s with my dad and step-mom’s. They’ll all be celebrating together early before the parents ship out to North Carolina. I reused an old cardboard box and bubble wrap that was sent to me to wrap them up. In addition, I finally got to whip out those old Christmas cards I’d been saving. One was used as a communal Christmas card, the other three cut up for tags.
Along with a little bit of shiny wrapping, it makes for a lovely, simple, relatively green presentation. I’m very pleased with the way these turned out and I think they’ll be fun for everyone to oogle. All the other presents get the same card treatment- used- and presentation, except in envelopes. I think this has been a success.
